About asabagna
I go by the name of Asabagna Alatentou, "Asa" for short. I took this name as my African/Spiritual name when I went on a pilgrimage to West Africa in 1997. I visited Senegal, The Gambia and Ghana. "Asabagna" means "hunter" and I received that name during a naming ceremony when I visited a village in northern Ghana. "Alatentou" is Mandingo for "God is gracious" and I received that name from a village Griot in Senegal. I was born in England and my parents are of Jamaican heritage. I spent most of my formative years in Jamaica, but grew up primarily in Toronto Canada. I currently live in Ottawa, the national capital of Canada. I am professionally employed, married, 2 wonderful kids and regularly attend a Pentecostal church. I am a born-again Christian. I do not consider myself conservative or liberal, right-wing or left-wing, centrist etc., or any of the multiple categories that society likes to confine and define people by. However, I do have strong views, beliefs and opinions but I also consider myself open to listening and contemplating other viewpoints. I am a firm believer that "if you don't believe in something, you will fall for anything".
What an issue! Sadly even I struggle with the vaccine issue. I know Mr. Bill Gates is more that quick to fund a whole bunch of vaccines slated for Africa. And I . don’t. trust him!!
Simply getting the dosage wrong can be damaging, so its really hard to know if the intention is well meaning. **sigh** I don’t have an answer. My youngest is not vaccinated.
It is amazing how Mr. Gates’ conversation was taking out of context. Does anyone in their right mind really believe that Mr. Gates is using his money just to lower the world population?
Before Mr. Gates even showed up, babies in Africa were, and are still dying daily from diseases that have been eradicated for decades or even centuries in other parts of this world.
If Mr. Gates is an enemy of African women and children, then African governments and leaders are the biggest Satan themselves.
Let us not forget ignorance, poverty, selfishness, corrupt governments, internal wars and conflicts, along with natural disasters and even much more…
The sad truth is, many babies in Africa have not been able to thrive past their most vulnerable stage, grow up and become healthy human beings the way God has destined things to be.
Famine was declared in Somalia and once again little black children in Africa are going to die.
