Meanwhile back on the plantation, the “White House” Negro defends his master…
This is disturbing and I’m not surprised that Sis Deb made it a point to share.
I’ve always wondered about that adage “ignorance is bliss” for knowledge to me is the key to navigating this world. What is the process that turns ‘a people’ whose history is one of slavery, annihilation, nomadism as a result of many countries finding them insufferable to live with; to become the perpetrators of the carnage related above by Chris Hedges?
After learning or facing this–it’s far more difficult to continue to wear those rose colored glasses and as painful as it might be for many of us; it’s time to take them off!
Asa, my Brother — you are very welcome, but the credit for the video goes to Dark Daughta who found it and posted it!
“Meanwhile back on the plantation, the “White House” Negro defends his master…” No shit!!! 😀 Israel has a right to defend itself from some non-nuclear rockets — with shit that can destroy an entire people!!! Go figure. {smdh}
Sis Carolyn…Trust me, I get the whole “Ignorance is bliss” adage; I’ve lived it for more years than I care to admit — it keeps one “unaccountable” for plenty by saying, “Well, I didn’t know!”
“What is the process that turns ‘a people’ whose history is one of slavery, annihilation, nomadism as a result of many countries finding them insufferable to live with; to become the perpetrators of the carnage related above by Chris Hedges?”
Check out Brother Amenta’s comments on my afore-linked post. It provides <some understanding, but regardless, I’m with you — are there not any DECENT people among them???
“After learning or facing this–it’s far more difficult to continue to wear those rose colored glasses and as painful as it might be for many of us; it’s time to take them off!”
That’s truly the bottom line, my Sister. Would that many more of US realized that need.
Peace, Family…
Asa, did you get my email reply?
Hey Sis Deb, I just checked…no I didn’t.
